Fundraising ideas
People all over the world are supporting Pump Aid. Thank you for your enormous and ongoing generosity to help us with our work. We are continually touched by the commitment of our supporters and seeing so many people do whatever is in their power to help people in developing countries getting access to clean water and sanitation.
Just a few examples:
- Making a one off or a monthly donation through our donate page
- A school class making and selling breakfast for a month or holding a cake and sweet sale. School wide programmes of “guess the number of sweets in a jar; cake sales; football tournaments; karaoke and the student’s favourite – throwing wet sponges at the teachers”.
- A teacher or parent signing up for a marathon or iron man and getting sponsorship for Pump Aid.
- A university charity committee organising events to support Pump Aid
- A Rotary club that supports our Walking for Water Campaign or organises a talk on water and Pump Aid
- A support group has been performing a large number of events to have fun and raise funds for Pump Aid; even a play has been staged!
